The European Business Awards (EBA) has announced that Galenicum has been honoured with a Ruban d’Honneur in the 2013/14 edition of these prestigious continental awards. Shortlisted as one of the ten runners up in the category of Infosys Business of the Year Award (turnover €26-150m), Galenicum will go through to the third and final round which will choose the overall winner for each of the 10 categories, the results of which will be announced at the awards gala in Athens (Greece) on 27 May 2014. The 100 Ruban d’Honneur recipients were chosen from among 375 National Champions by a panel of judges made up of business leaders, politicians and representatives from academic circles in Europe.
This recognition secures Galenicum as one of the most innovative and successful projects in Europe. Alejandro Ollé, one of the company’s three founders, stated that “it is a great honour to receive a Ruban d’Honneur at the European Business Awards. This award acknowledges the talent, innovation and commitment of our team, which without a doubt is the most important asset that has enabled us to grow despite the complex economic climate”. For his part, Adrian Tripp, Chief Executive Officer of the European Business Awards, said that “our judges were very impressed by the extremely high standard of the companies presented this year. Galenicum deserves the best of luck in the final round, which is set to be highly competitive”.
