Galenicum has invested in two major biotechnology projects: Bionure and Azurebio.
Bionure
Based in Barcelona’s Parc Científic science park; new offices will soon be opened in San Francisco, California.
- Developing an NCE for multiple sclerosis.
- Potential applications in the treatment of neuro-degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
Azurebio
Based in Madrid and led by Arcadio García, the company has three main projects:
- New technologies in hypodermic needles.
- Synthetic bone for odontology applications.
- Development of reactives for analytical labs.
